Here are some recent appearances of my work:

Summer 2014

This summer I had the good fortune of being included among the wonderful Luminous Traces Collective, a group of talented photographers posting images inspired by designated weekly themes. Hoping to continue to be inspired by their example and their prompts!

Summer 2013

Two of my Holga photographs, "Iron Pour" and "Catching Fire" appeared as part of the Chaffee Art Center 2013 Summer Juried Artist Member Show.

December 2012

Two of my Holga photographs, "Chance of Rain" and "Wheel to Wheel" were part of the Chaffee Art Center 2012 Winter All Members show which ran through January 2013. My first showing as a Rutland resident was exactly one year ago at last year's members' show, so this appearance brought the year, among other things, full circle.

I particularly like the placement of these pieces, just at the second floor landing of the grand staircase!

March 2012

Vermont College of Fine Arts, my alma mater, selected my photo "Turning Over a New Leaf" for use in the online and print promotions of their Annual Spring Open House event. See here for my post regarding the selection process.

 December 2011

Three of my photographs appeared in the Chaffee Art Center's annual Members Show.

"Table for One"

"Hometown View"

"Which of Us"

Fall 2011

Vernon Street held its annual Open Studios event on Nov 5th and 6th. More than 60 artists opened their doors to the public to show their work, talk about their process, and if they were fortunate, make some sales! I displayed small and large matted prints of my photographs, my new 2012 calendar and my new book (follow the IMAGE tab above for information on how to purchase these items). But it was my crocheted scarves and wristwarmers that were the big hit of the day. These items are always available in my ETSY shop, which is now replenished.

Summer 2011

The Minneapolis Institute of Art held an exhibit called "Facing the Lens : Portraits of Photographers" running from January 21st through August 2011. This show featured works by classic and contemporary photographers as well as an accompanying Flickr group from which images were drawn to be projected on a screen in the gallery space for the duration of the show. Four of my photos were in this group.

See the museum website and flickr page here:

One of my photographs appeared in the window of the CVS in Davis Square in Somerville through the month of July. This space, known as the Inside-Out Gallery, is used by the Somerville Arts Council for both group and solo shows. In keeping with one of Somerville's biggest annual outdoor art events, Artbeat, held in Davis Square on July 15th and 16th, the theme of the July show was RED and featured work by a dozen local artists in all media.

Somerville Open Studios and Somerville Museum

On April 30th and May 1st, Somerville held its premier art community event of the year, Somerville Open Studios in which the numerous artists’ working spaces in this city open their doors to the public.  I displayed my photographs in Studio 21 at 6 Vernon Street (see my page here)

In conjunction with SOS, the Somerville Museum hosted an exhibition of participating artists, myself included, from April 15th to May 13th. This was a great way to view all in one space some of the amazing artwork to be seen during the SOS weekend. The photograph I selected to display, pictured below, is called "Fantastic."
